This is  an introduction to the art of Being a Bgirl. You will learn  some of the  history behind this culture as well as the fundamentals of  the dance  known to the masses as Breakdancing. The class is $10  and if you  bring a friend they pay $5, so basically, $15 for two  people. This  class is not offered anywhere else in Austin. This  is will give  you insight on a  culture that has gone through many  trials and  tribulations. During the late 80s-early 90s (the beginning  of Gangsta  Rap) Breakdancing culture died down in America. While it  slept here, it  was growing across Europe & Asian. Yes, there are  hardcore Norwegian  Bboys/Bgirls. Yes, the Korean government actually  pays Bboys/Bgirls to  be the best at this art and rep their country. Right  now, we are  witnessing an evolution of Bgirl culture. Please come and  experience a  piece of this movement by attending this Saturday. If  you ride a  bike, we can do a ladies ride down to the springs to cool  off and maybe  get some sno cones- because they are delicious.
